Maldroid

Very few new bands can say that they’ve been guests on ABC’s “Good Morning America” and that they’ve opened for bands like Paramore or Modest Mouse. Maldroid from Oakland, CA are an eccentric 7-piece with an energetic live show that earned them an opening slot for San Francisco’s Live 105′s Not So Silent Night winter concert as the local band contest winner. Their first video for He Said, She Said beat out thousands of contestants in a YouTube music video competition in 2007 and got them a feature on the nationally televised morning show. Another stand out track from the band is the anthemic, Heck No (I’ll Never Listen To Techno). Both tracks will be available on the band’s debut full length, “Nevermind” due out April 15.
