Los-Angeles based pop-rock singer Katy Perry is currently finishing work on her debut album, which she recorded with Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne), Butch Walker (Pink, The Donnas), Glen Ballard (Alanis Morissette), and Greg Wells (Natasha Bedingfield, Rufus Wainwright). Another Capitol artist you must listen to is Ferras. He was personally signed by label head Jason Flom, and will release his debut album Aliens & Rainbows on April 1. The record was produced by The Matrix (Shakira, Avril Lavigne, Korn) and Gary Clark (Natalie Imbruglia, Lloyd Cole). He’ll perform his first single, Hollywood’s Not America, on the Today Show on February 12. The track will also be used as the exit song on this year’s edition of American Idol.
