Hit Prediction: Hurtful

We first featured Erik Hassle in February, prior to signing deals with Sony/ATV, Island Records UK and Universal Republic.

Ian Ramage, Sony/ATV’s Head of A&R in the UK and Europe, emailed us after inking a deal with Erik and said: “You should be aware that your championing of Erik definitely fuelled our enthusiasm and therefore contributed to us signing his publishing deal.”

We are still big fans and are putting Erik’s first single, “Hurtful,” officially on Hit Prediction in this post. The song will be released in the UK next month and U.S. next year.
