EMI Music Publishing has the largest share of the 100 most popular U.S. radio airplay songs in the third quarter, “outplaying” the competition for the third time in a row with a share of 19.5%. Sony/ATV comes in second with 17.1%, Universal Music Publishing Group is third with 12.5%, and Warner Chappell fourth with 11.9%. Responsible for EMI’s big share are songs like “I Gotta Feeling” by the Black Eyed Peas (No.2) and “Best I Ever Had” by Drake (No.4), while Sony/ATV has the most played song in the third quarter with Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me.”
