Daily News: Friday

Azoff Empire Keeps Growing: “As the majors continue to contract, the size and clout of a handful of big management companies grow in inverse proportion. None is more powerful than Irving Azoff’s Front Line empire, which further flexes its muscles with the acquisitions of Ken Levitan and Jack Rovner’s Vector Management and Jordan Feldstein’s Career Artists Management. The Vector acquisition brings such acts as Kid Rock, Jonny Lang, Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin and Trisha Yearwood to the Front Line stable, along with the CAM-repped Maroon 5, Sara Bareilles and Staind. Additionally, Vector has an important consultancy arrangement with Bon Jovi. And the rich get richer.” (via Hits)
