Sleigh Bells have just inked a deal with Grammy-nominated artist M.I.A., who signed the group to her N.E.E.T. imprint in partnership with Mom + Pop Records.
The group was highlighted by us a a few weeks ago and is the 99th featured Crazed Hits act to get signed.
A bidding war has come to an end…
We can exclusively reveal that Never Shout Never, who we first featured back in July 2008, has signed to Warner Bros Records. This is the 49th Crazed Hits artist to ink a major label deal within the last 16 months.
According to our sources, Interscope Records have signed 12-year old Greyson Chance, who has attracted over 13 million views on YouTube with his cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi.”
Our sources tell us that Interscope closed the deal before any other label could even step in and meet the kid.
We wouldn’t mind see a cover of Burno Mars too.
Update: This has been confirmed. TV Host Ellen DeGeneres signed Greyson Chance to her Interscope imprint, ElevenEleven.

Chiddy Bang, who were featured on Crazed Hits in June 2009, have signed to EMI’s renowned Parlophone Records (home to Coldplay, The Beatles, and Beastie Boys). The group is the 92nd featured Crazed Hits act to get signed.
Australian rock band The Temper Trap, who we first featured in March, have signed to Glassnote Records – run by Daniel Glass, former President of EMI and Universal Records. The band becomes the 48th featured Crazed Hits to get picked up by a label within the last 16 months.
Mike Posner, who we first featured in February 2009, has signed to Sony’s J Records. He is the 61st unsigned featured Crazed Hits artist to get picked up by a label since February 2008.
Bob Cavallo is Chairman of the Disney Music Group, which consists of Hollywood Records, Walt Disney Records, Lyric Street Records, and Walt Disney Music Publishing. Prior to joining Disney, Cavallo worked as an artist manager with Earth Wind & Fire and Prince.

After losing electro-pop songstress “Lights” to Tom Whalley and Warner Bros, we can reveal that Universal Republic has now inked a deal with Light’s male equivalent, Owl City, who we first featured back in September. Owl City becomes the 37th featured Crazed Hits artist to get picked up by a major label during the course of the last 12 months!
